Scientists
at Encode Research (www.EncodeResearch.com)
announced today that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
issued a patent on their formulas for the safe delivery
of Nitric Oxide (NO) to tissues and organs.
The
scientist’s research and patents focus on genetically-targeted
solutions for optimal health in humans, and include L-Arginine
Nitric Oxide delivery systems. Their unique and patented
L-arginine transport systems provide a specific signaling
cell matrix designed to achieve appropriate cellular goals
and provide health benefits, including mitigation of low
L-arginine levels as evidenced in Dysregulated Arginine
Metabolism (DAR).
Two
of the Nitric Oxide (NO) patents and formulas, called
NO FOR HEALTH, are exclusively licensed to Boresha International,
and represents one of several technologies that Encode
Research is developing for delivering NO
to target tissues for therapeutic benefit.
Nitric
Oxide (NO) is widely recognized as a key signaling molecule
in human health and is associated with a variety of tissues
and organs that affect cardiovascular disease, inflammatory
disease and male erectile dysfunction.
Since
its discovery as a signaling molecule 10 years ago, Nitric
Oxide (NO) has been demonstrated to be ubiquitous and
essential to a broad range of biological functions, but
potentially dangerous in human use (Johns Hopkins/JAMA).
The
issued patent broadly protects Encode Research’s
L-Arginine formulas for nitric oxide delivery,
and is considered the only long-term safe delivery system
for the amino acid L-Arginine. The patent encompasses
the only Nitric Oxide (NO) formulas that contain Blind
Amino Acid® Riders, which render NO and L-Arginine
safe for human use long-term.
Scientists
at Encode Research have proven
the long-term safety in humans of their L-Arginine NO
patents over a 25-year period. This is the longest
validated and proven use of L-Arginine/NO in the world.
The
patented delivery molecules in the formulas contain nitric
oxide donors, enabling potent biological effects and prolonged
duration of action with a proven favorable safety profile.
The
Nitric Oxide (NO) molecule plays a critical role in regulatory
events associated with the cardiovascular system, protection
of gastric mucosa, relaxation of the penile cavernosal
smooth muscle underlying the erectile response, and signaling
in the nervous system.
Encode
Research is focusing its broad technology
platform and expertise in Nitric Oxide (NO) chemistry
and biology to develop new treatments and current therapies
for genetic polymorphisms, and NO-related mechanisms in
humans, which include adjuncts to fertility and male erectile
dysfunction, as well as female-specific NO formulas.
